The Woodchucks Online Design Center lets you customize and compare a host of different furnishings, includingย sofas,ย beds,ย ottomans,ย chairs, andย benches. You can customize each item through the following simple steps:
- Select the overall style you want for your new furniture
- Choose a fabric for the body of the main piece of furniture
- Select a fabric for any pillows or other features that will go with the furniture
- Choose a welt and a finish
Once youโve designed a piece of furniture, youโre free to zoom in, print it out, or add it to your favorites before deciding whether to buy. This way, you can be sure you know exactly what your designs look like and make the selection that suits you best.
Projecting the Big Picture
No piece of upholstery stands alone, so when deciding what you want each piece of furniture to look like, you need to know how theyโll all appear next to one another. Woodchucks makes this easier than ever with ourย Room Planner.
As part of the Design Center, the Room Planner lets you map out each room in your home, specifying its size, its shape, the wall color, and the location of any doors, windows, or structural features. You can thenย mix and match different pieces of furnitureย that youโre thinking of putting in the room, including both the ones that youโve designed and the standard upholstery we offer. Finally, you can email the image to friends and family, see what they think, and decide if the design works for you.
